老师 read ‘lao(3) shi(1)’ means teacher (for general use)
教师 read ‘jiao(4) shi(1)’ means school teacher
学生 read ‘xue(2) sheng(1) means student
Those sample usually use for the school/college. The other related, like maybe we have teacher who teach us the kungfu, we can use this sample:
师父 read ’shi(1) fu(4)’ means teacher
徒弟 read ‘tu(2) di(1)’ means student
Maybe there are some different using I don’t know too…..:p
